OVERVIEW
We were brought on to handle the complete audio post-production for Season 2 of the popular business podcast, "The Founder's Journey." The raw audio was recorded remotely and suffered from various issues like background noise, echo, and inconsistent levels.The Challenge
The podcast features interviews with high-profile founders recorded in various non-studio environments. Our task was to clean up the dialogue, remove distracting background noises (like sirens, hums, and clicks), and ensure that every episode sounded clear, polished, and professional, as if it were recorded in a single studio.
Our Approach
We used a suite of advanced audio restoration tools to surgically remove unwanted sounds without affecting the clarity of the speakers’ voices. We then carefully edited the dialogue for flow and pacing, balanced the volume levels between the host and guest, and mixed in the show’s theme music and advertisements. The final master was optimized for all major podcast platforms to ensure a consistent listening experience.
The Result
The audio quality of Season 2 was a dramatic improvement over the previous season. The client reported a significant increase in listener retention and positive feedback on the show’s professional sound. The clean, crisp audio allowed the powerful stories of the founders to take center stage.
