OVERVIEW
We worked with indie artist 'Luna Bloom' to produce her debut single, "Summer Haze." The goal was to capture a dreamy, nostalgic vibe with a modern pop sensibility, perfect for a breakout summer anthem.The Challenge
Luna came to us with a beautiful acoustic demo. The challenge was to build a full production around it without losing the intimate, heartfelt quality of the original song. We needed to craft a sound that was both radio-friendly and authentic to her artistic identity.
Our Approach
We started by creating a custom beat with a blend of vintage drum machine samples and live percussion to give it a unique rhythm. We layered shimmering synth pads, a groovy bassline, and clean electric guitars to build the instrumental. For the vocals, we focused on capturing a warm, airy performance and creating lush, layered harmonies to enhance the chorus.
The Result
The final track, “Summer Haze,” is a sun-soaked pop gem that perfectly encapsulates the feeling of a fleeting summer romance. The song has garnered over a million streams on Spotify and was featured on several influential indie pop playlists, launching Luna’s career to a new level.
